Hari lives with his wife Tara younger brother Mahadav and widowed aunt Namo Aatya.Mahdav's marriage is arranged to a very young Uma.Mahadav dies soon after their marriage.The villagers now want Uma to follow their traditions of shaving her head and living her entire life as Mahadav's widow.
