- leeartlee16 grudnia 2025Okay, I gotta ask: How in the hell does this have near a 90% on rotten tomatoes? Just for reference, I thought this movie was so bad it took me 4 different sessions to finish it. And I am use to watching very, VERY bad movies. I didn’t want to be completely unkind and give it 1/2 star because I *did* sorta get what they were aiming for but it was just poorly paced, not. very well acted, and worst of all boring. I have a general rule to never delete stuff off my Plex server. This movie is going to be an exception. Again, I watch what people would call “bad movies” all the time and usually can have a good time doing so. There was just something about this movie that was a drag, man. Easily in the top 5 worst movies I’ve seen this year.
- Daniel Schmid16 października 2025An intriguing story which falls short of being something really good, but it's still very enjoyable. While everything is made quite well it becomes pretty clear that this movie doesn't leave a whole lot to the imagination, the viewer is basically being carried through everything, which is something I'm struggling to enjoy in horror movies. That's why I'd rather categorize this as bloody mystery. It's light to watch, the fear of the unknown is not very present, and the story is more about a struggle to get to the goal instead of finding out what the goal even is. The facial expressions in the acting are sometimes a bit too excessive, which is a shame because that's rarely the case, but often enough to break the immersion. The story has potential, but some parts do not make sense and it feels like they're being justified with "you don't need to know, she's a psychic so just accept it". Which plays into what I meant when I said earlier that it's not about finding the goal, but getting to it. It's not a bad movie per se, it's still worth a watch. It's just that the feeling of dread never comes up.
- Adam Azul28 września 2025This was refreshingly fun. Psychics? Demons? Possession? Why not! It Feeds is a 2025 horror flick dealing with a a malevolent entity that drains the life from its host if it is not offered another to take their place. The demon like creature is not clearly defined but acts almost like a chain letter curse, being able to pass onto another if they are nearby when their host dies. Its design is wonderfully creepy, and used impressively, whether its lurking in the background or suddenly spring out with a jump scare. Its imposing presence is also enhanced by the fact that in story, no one knows how to actually deal with it. Even the psychic doesn't want to take up the task, making it even more suspenseful when it's transmitted to someone close to them. Overall, It Feeds is an interesting and different experience that might just be worth a watch for you.
