Interstellar Ratings & Reviews
- Varun13 grudnia 2024Watched the IMAX rerelease and was completely blown away. I was speechless after the movie was done. I saw the movie 10 years ago at age 15 in a regular theatre and it had a huge impact on my life. As a teenager I really loved the final lesson on love, but it was like a wisdom cookie that I liked and accepted as a piece of knowledge, but hadn’t fully experienced and understood in my soul. It’s only in 2019 when I experimented with ego dissolving substances and then later watching lectures on love and reality by the philosopher J. Krishnamurti that I finally realised deep down in my soul that love truly was beyond space and time. Love to me is the same as God, a single unifying force that holds the fabric of the universe together, that exists within everything. One is All, All is One. It’s a dimension that is both immanent and transcendent, and human beings are capable of tapping into its sphere through various means. In this movie, that means is explored through the lens of physics and space, two things that have also been absolutely fundamental in changing the trajectory of my life and belief systems, it was the impetus for my disbelief in religion and God but also my eventual return back to spirituality. And I would absolutely credit Interstellar for sparking that push to meditate on these concepts, and also for providing help with some visual imagery to wrestle with these hard topics. The depictions and scenery in this film are jaw droppingly gorgeous and unforgettable, it’s bound to stay in your conscious mind for a long time. I know I wasn’t the same after this experience. And of course, Hans Zimmer delivering the best movie score of all time, makes me so emotional every single time and also feel a profound sense of hope in life. The sound design in IMAX was perfect. The actions scenes are also really good, felt like I was out of my seat multiple times. I do have a little bit of a gripe with a few character and story moments, they were sacrificed in service of the bigger picture. But overall I think it tells a very special story about the human struggle in this infinite cold universe and it’s one of the best movies I’ve ever seen, completely worth rewatching it in IMAX, it’s almost a religious experience.
- Cubane5 dni temuNolan couldn't film on location in the orbit of an actual black hole, so he did the next best thing and rendered one using the most resource-intensive process ever used for a movie just so it would look as accurate as possible. I think the studio should have agreed to cough up an extra 100 mil to cryo freeze McConaughey and some cameramen and wait the extra 1.6 million years or so to ship them to Gaia BH1 and back for some sick location footage, but I guess this is good enough.
- 1marioaa28 grudnia 2025If you’re not into sci‑fi but appreciate heartfelt moments, this is for you. My spouse—who usually avoids sci‑fi—enjoyed the movie. It’s long, but absolutely worth it. Be sure to pay attention to the details.

- Connor7 grudnia 2025My favorite Cristopher Nolan film and one of my favorite films of all time. Sparked my interest in science and engineering back in high school (when the film first came out), and now finished college working full time as an engineer :-)
- Nathan Magreta5 grudnia 2025Interstellar is yet another masterpiece cooked up by Nolan. The movie has an impeccable soundtrack, great performances, and though it has it's pacing issues, it's still your average Nolan masterpiece.

- Kevin Welkner7 maja 2025Can’t believe it took me over 10 years to watch this. This is one of those 3 hour movies that goes by in what feels like minutes because you are so sucked in to it - ironic given the storyline.
- Nier24 września 2025Interstellar is a masterpiece that earns a full 5 stars from me. From its breathtaking visuals to its mind-bending exploration of time, space, and human emotion, the film delivers on every level. Christopher Nolan crafts a story that’s both epic and intimate—flawlessly balancing stunning cosmic journeys with the raw, personal stakes of family and survival. The performances are top-notch, particularly Matthew McConaughey, whose portrayal of Cooper brings genuine heart to the sprawling adventure. The film’s score, paired with its striking cinematography, elevates every scene and pulls you deep into its universe. Interstellar isn’t just Sci-Fi—it’s an experience. Thought-provoking, emotionally powerful, and visually unforgettable, it’s the kind of movie that sticks with you long after the credits roll. For anyone who loves ambitious filmmaking, this is as close as it gets to cinematic perfection.
