Calabria, 1992. On a small boat in the middle of a lake, Pino and Totò imagine a different life from that which the local society has imposed on them and while they are gently rocked by the waves that crash against the side of the boat, the two boys crave a life of simple ambitions and passionate love stories. Pino and Totò were born in a Calabrian village and dream of going to America to escape from that land of Mob. Thus, when chance presents before their eyes the opportunity for a new beginning, the two do not miss it.
