- Rob MacKinnon31 października 2025I hadn’t seen this since i saw it on a rented Betamax at a sleepover as a kid. It scared us all at the time. Now, not so much. Overall it’s pretty decent, but pales in comparison to the original. Donald Pleasance returning as bat-shit Dr. Loomis is welcomed, for sure. I was surprised by how little Jamie Lee Curtis is in this until the last act. She spends most of the movie in a hospital bed. And that hospital! Why is it so empty and so dark? What happened to the babies? When did nurses stop wearing those white uniforms and hats? I love that a kid is sandwiched by a cop car and burned to death and no one seems to care at all.
