Rather than laying everything out from the start, it drops breadcrumbs, inviting you to piece things together. When the truth finally clicks into place, it feels earned. It’s not flashy by superhero standards, but it's an entertaining film carried by a kid.
- MR_BigTime10 stycznia 2026Can we talk for a minute about how cute Lexy Kolker was here? When she wasn't being a spoiled brat, that is... sometimes even then. With that out of the way, while Freaks presents a subject that's anything but new, it does so in a rather powerful way. It even went a bit over the top for my taste, at times, but even then it kept my attention and kept me wondering what was real and what wasn't. It's definitely nominated for a rewatch from me sometime.
