The action scenes are cleverly choreographed with impressive explosions. It is clever in its depiction of the future and is somewhat accurate, although reality is slightly less advanced. There are electric cars and a peaceful society. Goldenthal's score is very orchestral. The plot follows the story of John Spartan, a policeman who is resurrected to catch killer Simon Phoenix in a future Los Angeles now called San Angeles.

Demolition Man is filled with 90s nostalgia, stylized sci-fi, dozens of fight scenes, explosions, quirky comedy, "20th Century Violence", endlessly quotable lines, more explosions, sci-fi weapons, Sylvester Stallone's original face, and a bleach-blonde Wesley Snipes kickboxing his way through a defenseless city!

Wesley Snipes definitely played a huge role in adding such an iconic villain to this movie. I still like him more as a good guy but in this he was top notch.
