I’m a devout theater fan, and dear Evan Hansen meant so much to me, especially as a teenager dealing with depression who related to Connor Murphy. This movie does it no justice. The movie is terrible. Watch a bootleg of the stage production on YouTube and then read the novel that the creator wrote.
