Having watched Cocktail 2 earlier this week, going back to the original made me realize just how much better the first film truly is. The storyline, performances, soundtrack, and social message are all far superior. Imtiaz Ali penned the script for the original, which is probably why it still retains that fresh, magical quality. Overall, it’s a highly entertaining romantic comedy that I highly recommend.
