All the Creatures Were Stirring Ratings & Reviews
- jackmeat4 kwietnia 2025My quick rating - 5.2/10. Another anthology flick, this time with two people who go on a Christmas Eve date to a strange theater that acts out our segments. That is your tie together part of the story, but the segments in this one actually were not bad at all. They did a good job with a "didn't see that coming" in a couple of them as well.
- Tony21 lutego 2026All the Creatures Were Stirring attempts to subvert holiday horror through a seasonal anthology set in a desolate theater. While the framing device is conceptually ambitious, the execution feels disjointed and fails to deliver a cohesive experience. The primary issue lies in the uneven quality of the segments. Tonal shifts feel less like a deliberate choice and more like a lack of clear direction. Some shorts lean into absurdist comedy while others attempt a grim seriousness that the production values cannot support. Because the viewer is never given time to settle into a specific atmosphere, the scares feel unearned. Technically, the film lacks the festive dread found in superior genre entries. Creature designs are often obscured by poor lighting or rapid editing, which suggests a need to hide budgetary constraints rather than a stylistic choice to build tension. Despite a few committed performances, the film ultimately offers a collection of half-baked ideas that never coalesce into a meaningful whole.
- clay__h4 marca 2025Much better than it had any right to be. Very creepy and clever storytelling wraps this set of short films into a neat little present.
