- Kevin Ward14 kwietnia 2026The film opens with a Robert Redford voiceover and it made me wish he had done more films his voiceover, A River Runs Through It, for example. He has such a soothing quality to his voice, kind of like Morgan Freeman. Ironically, immediately after those opening moments there is virtually no dialogue in the movie at all, let alone voiceover. It’s a pretty harrowing tale of a man lost at sea. Really well made film. Loved some of the underwater shots looking up at his vessel or his raft with the sun/moon in the background. When he watches his sailboat sink beneath the surface from his raft, I couldn’t help but think that he had to be feeling like maybe that was a very bad investment. 🤕
