- Clarence Boddicker17 lutego 2026I have to confess, I just love these kind of movies, like Frozen or Fall. Considering what they had to work with (no sharks, bad weather etc...) this turned out pretty good.
- Big Hulky6 listopada 202512 Braincells Deep {Spoilers Below} This movie should have finished a lot faster if Jonna didn't decided to drink a gallon of hatorade before meeting with Bree. She caused the scenario to begin by throwing her ring in the pool, then decided to make everything 10x harder than it needed to be when in the pool. She barely cooperated, and played the martyr roll for most of the movie. Before I go into what makes it stink like dookie, I'd like to say this: 1. The acting is good. For the very limited range they're in (stuck in a pool), the sisters and the psycho-deranged janitor did great. That was it. Now onto the stupid points that caused them to be/stay in their situation: 1. Bree can't retrieve her ring that's stuck in the grate, so Jonna jumps in to help her, leading McGraday to believe they went home and close the pool cover. - Why would you jump in to help her? It's a ring. It was lodged in the grate. The ring was not going anywhere. Guilt was likely eating at her, so she attempted to help, but it was stupid. 2. Bree attempts to grab the pool's floor grate herself, but isn't strong enough. She mentions that if Jonna helped, they should be able to detatch it and break the fiberglass cover to escape. This is the last time they physically attempt to remove the grate until the end of the film. - My first two thoughts were using Bree's diamond ring as a makeshift brass knuckle, and punching the fiberglass to crack it. My second thought was the grate, but it SHOULD'VE been screwed down, so normally, that wouldn't work. 3. When Clara comes into the picture, it was probably best NOT to shank her in the ear. They could have bargained for Bree's insulin shot to ensure she doesn't go into a coma. 4. Bree's husband, he doesn't know where she went? In a normal relationship, you'd mentioned you're meeting up with your sister you haven't seen in years, and where you'll be going with her, no? A little: "We're gonna go to the Ketea public pool to catch up. We used to swim a lot so she might be more comfortable there." Is that a completely logical thought or am I just nuts?
- M08Y27 listopada 2025Even attractive women in swimsuits wasn't enough to make this a good viewing experience. 12 Feet Deep is a fairly unremarkable film. The cast is fairly good and does their best with a pretty underwhelming script. The fact that the film introduces an actual villain was an interesting choice that I wasn't expecting, usually these kind of films use the environment as the villain. The villain however, is really quite poor and you can sum them up with "villain is mean because they just are". The lack of twist at the end was in itself surprising. After you've seen a few of these movies, you learn to expect *that* twist at the end. The audio and visuals were fine. The 1.78:1 aspect ratio is always appreciated using all of my TV real-estate.

I was very surprised when watching it because I was like “how can they get trapped in a pool” but it’s more than that there being held hostage against there will... and other things that I won’t say because I don’t want to spoil the movie. I would watch it very good plot in my opinion.
