Wu Jifeng is a musician and actor born in Benxi, Liaoning, China. He began studying calligraphy at an early age.
After watching an EXO performance in high school, he dreamed of joining a boy group, but his parents opposed it. As a result, he decided to major in Japanese at Southwest Minzu University after high school.
He pursued his dream by becoming a trainee at ETM Academy. Later, he appeared on "Produce Camp 2019" , where he reached the finals and ranked 20th overall. During this time, he also participated in the "Super Nova Games."
