He gained widespread recognition for his role as Birdy in the 2020 film Your Name Engraved Herein, which became the highest-grossing LGBTQ+ film in Taiwan. Tseng also starred in the supernatural horror film Detention (2019), earning a nomination for Best New Performer at the 56th Golden Horse Awards.
