Born Monte Halparin, Monty Hall was a Canadian radio and television show host who moved to the USA to pursue a career in broadcasting. Hall was best known as the game show host and producer of the 1963 hit show Let's Make a Deal. Monty Hall received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 1974.
