As editor of F1 Racing magazine from 1996 to 2007, he made it one of the leading publications in Formula 1. In 2008, he joined McLaren Racing as Chief Communications Officer, working with drivers like Lewis Hamilton and Jenson Button. Later, he became Communications Director for the all-female W Series, promoting diversity in motorsport. In 2020, he joined Aston Martin’s F1 team as Chief Communications Officer. Bishop is also a founder ambassador of Racing Pride, advocating for LGBTQ+ inclusivity in motorsport.
