Mark Joshua Gordon began his career in 1952, appearing in the Broadway play Desire Under the Elms, followed by the soap opera The Edge of Night in 1956. From the 1960s through the 1980s Gordon appeared in a host of popular tv series and films, retiring in 2001 after an appearance in the series Ed.
