Kathie Browne (born Jacqueline Katherine Browne) made her television debut around 1958 in episodes of Gunsmoke and Bonanza. She was a regular in the short lived 1967 series Hondo, and guest starred in numerous television series such as 77 Sunset Strip, My Favorite Martian, The Rockford Files, Ironside, Police Story, Banacek, Get Smart and Star Trek. Her film career included Cinderfella (1960), The Slowest Gun In The West (1963), The Brass Bottle (1964), Brainstorm (1965), Berlin Affair (1970) and Zero To Sixty (1978). She married actor Darren McGavin in 1969 and in 1972, they co-founded the production company Taurean Films.
