He was born as Charalambos Rassias in 1960 in Piraeus, where he lived until the age of 6, when his family moved to Athens. He graduated from the Moraitis school and was admitted to the Medical School of Athens. At the age of 25 he married a classmate and their marriage lasted 2 years.
