Born June 11, 1963 (61 years)
Gioia Bruno is an Italian-born American popular music singer, most noted as a member of the vocal group Exposé. Bruno developed a benign tumor on her vocal cords in August of 1990, preventing her from being able to sing, and for the group's third album, she was replaced by Kelly Moneymaker, who continued until Bruno had fully recovered in 1997. After a brief stint with the band Wet, she worked on a solo career, with her first album being released in the spring of 2004. In September 2006, Bruno temporarily stopped touring as a solo artist to rejoin Exposé for a tour, and has continued to perform with the group since, though Kelly Moneymaker continues to make occasional guest appearances as well.
