Nguyễn Chánh Trực (born 25th November 1968 in Saigon, South Vietnam), better known as Charlie Nguyễn, is a Vietnamese-American director, screenwriter and producer. Considered a front runner in commercial Vietnamese cinema, he had the record of highest grossing Vietnamese film with "Fool for Love" and its spin off "Let Hoi Decide" until the release of Phan Gia Nhật Linh's remake of "Sweet 20" in late 2015.
