Charles Lafayette King III was an American sound mixer and editor for film. His father is actor Charles Lafayette King Jr. (aka Charles or Charlie King) who had numerous film roles (1919-1950).
He was shot and killed by an intruder in his Hollywood apartment just before midnight on June 29, 1990. After retirement from the movie business, he was training as the apartment manager in the complex where he was killed.
