Juan Carlos Nieto Chao, better known as Chao, is a naturalized Mexican singer-songwriter, actor and dancer born in Spain. He arrived in Mexico in 1987 where he would begin a career as a singer-songwriter releasing five albums and as an actor in soap operas. As an actor, he has mainly participated in the Televisa company, which he joined in 1988 and where he also began his musical career. She has participated in telenovelas such as La mujer del Vendaval, Por ella soy Eva, Amor descarado and Yo amo a Juan Querendón. His wife's name is Bel with whom he has a son. In 2014, Chao switched to the television station TV Azteca in which he participated in the reality show Soy tu doble and in an episode of the television series Lo que callamos las mujeres. At the end of 2015, Chao returned to the Televisa network, where he has recently participated in the telenovelas Las amazonas (2016), El bienamado (2017), You had to be your (2018) and Without fear of the Truth 2a Tem (2019).
