Honesty peak, only reason I can't give it 5 stars is I still think it doesn't quite match NGE but still an amazing end to the rebuild tetralogy.
Evangelion: 3.0+1.0 Thrice Upon a Time
Neon Genesis Evangelion
A masterclass at exploring the human psyche and existentialism, one of if not the greatest pieces of media ever produced.
Neon Genesis Evangelion
Evangelion: 3.0 You Can (Not) Redo
Very confusing plot, needs a rewatch to make sense of but that is not too dissimilar from NGE, ramp up in animation and diverges the storyline completely, but still a great retelling.
Evangelion: 3.0 You Can (Not) Redo
Evangelion: 2.0 You Can (Not) Advance
Much better than the first rebuild movie, not quite original evangelion, still great retelling with great animation
Evangelion: 2.0 You Can (Not) Advance
Evangelion: 1.0 You Are (Not) Alone
Has been distilled and simplified, losing a bit of what makes evangelion evangelion.Still a good retelling of the original story with great animation.
Evangelion: 1.0 You Are (Not) Alone
Your Name.
