It is decided that whoever finds the mystic Firebird first will become the new and rightful monarch. The Firebird is time-traveling to the past. Karen time-travels back to the year 1981 to ask for the help of her ancestors Wataru Toki and Koyomu Himekuri in locating the Firebird.
