In 1628 was one of Europe's largest ship, the Vasa, completed. The summer gathered thousands of curious along Stockholm's quays to see her slip out on her maiden voyage.

From the clayey bottom of the water just outside of the city center of Stockholm a piece of untouched 15th century was attended. Apart from remnants of the dead sailors and soldiers also tools, household utensils and clothes were found.
