Temuera Morrison may have reignited the flame as Boba Fett, but it’s Pedro Pascal’s stoic Mandalorian who truly made the armour iconic again. And of course, there’s Grogu — the little green phenomenon the world lovingly calls Baby Yoda. His presence transformed the show from just another blaster-and-jetpack adventure into something genuinely heartfelt. Watching a hardened bounty hunter grow to protect a small, fragile being gave Star Wars the emotional depth it had been missing since the original trilogy. The production is cinematic, the gunfights are perfectly paced, and the respect for Star Wars lore is clear. It builds the world outward — from bounty hunters and Mandalorian creeds to the shadow of the fallen Empire — without ever breaking what came before. With sci-fi heavyweights like Katee Sackhoff, Carl Weathers, and Chris Bartlett adding their weight to the cast, it’s no wonder this became the new benchmark for franchise storytelling. Three seasons in and still not enough — this isn’t just a continuation of Star Wars; it’s its evolution. 🥃 Pairing: A glass of smoky whisky — neat, disciplined, and with a warmth that sneaks up on you, much like the Mandalorian himself.
- Octothorn21. mars 2026I enjoyed the first two seasons very much. On watching, I felt it was the most faithful modern return of the spirit of the original 1977 film. My rating is a reflection of those first two seasons only. After Gina Carano was forced out for political reasons, the downward spiral began, and I do not even consider it to be the same show by the third season.

- theLillyPad18. juni 2025This is a difficult show to rate. A perfect first season, okay second, and disastrous third. Neither the second or third seasons ever convince me they needed to exist after the first season wrapped up so nicely. The first season came out right when hope for Star Wars was needed the most and my my did it deliver. But by the third season, it can simply be added to the pile of key-jangling, cameo-infested slop with most of the rest of the live-action shows.
