So did Nicola Barry, to his surprise Christina's lesbian partner, who bitterly blames him for 'disowning her as a teen', but seems herself involved in Cristina's morbid evolution, having broken up and junkies or dealers, but for illegal activities she refers to Maia's 'nightclub' brothel.

MaiaFollowing Nicola's lead, Danny Frater visits the notorious 'nightclub' The Crimson Orchid, where reluctantly identified manager Maia fails to convince him its' no brothel, his daughter Christina didn't work there or she didn't trade drugs, as he finds a packet, but believes Nicola is no better and Maia dated Christina. Danny forces her to betray the bigger dealer, known only as Jaisal.

HarryHaving pressed Jaisal and Ryan ruthlessly for information, Danny believes the mastermind is race gambling king Harry Carr, whom he meets at the tracks. He admits to a close, complex relationship with Christina as lover and boss, firmly denies to have hurt her. A final confrontation is inevitable, both came prepared to play hardball, Harry gives a chilling demonstration he stops at nothing.
