Ordinary people stumble onto extraordinary discoveries in the ocean, and the show slowly builds into something much bigger than it first appears. It had suspense, a touch of wonder, and even some heartfelt moments. Unfortunately it ended after one season, leaving plenty of unanswered questions, but it remains a fascinating watch for fans of creature-driven sci-fi.
