An operative of the Main Directorate for Drug Control of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs, Artyom Steklov, together with a colleague from Sochi, is conducting an operation to detain Kostik, the son of a major Sochi drug dealer, Viktor Khromov. As a result of the operation, Kostik is arrested, and Artyom testifies against him. Fearing the revenge of the criminals, Artyom's family is sent to a safe place. However, Kostik and his fighters manage to discover the whereabouts of Artyom Steklov and his family. Bandits attack the operative's house, kill his wife and seriously wound his daughter. Wanting revenge, Artyom goes south to find his wife's killers.
