This is the start of three part special, it explains the ups and downs of working class life in Peckham, in the 1950 and 60's. It introduced you to Dels mum and dad and their hard life. But with fun and laughter and how Del learns his trade, to support his mum. You also meet Rodney's birth father. The young gang are great, you see how their adult characters unfold and why Del speaks random French.
