Rita has to stand in for another teacher in "home education". But she is a terrible cook and the only meal she can cook is pasta with ketchup! However, Knud has been taught by his parents to avoid "chemistry", and Rita therefore arranges a cook-off with Knud. The outcome is a little unexpected. Meanwhile Hjørdis also experiences trouble with Leas son, Allan.
