Heinz Kallin is the only German who has won the legendary adventure car rally "Camel Trophy". In the documentary series, the survival expert goes on an adventure tour across Germany with outdoor enthusiasts. From the lakes of Mecklenburg to the Bavarian Alps, the participants fight their way through untouched river landscapes, swamps and dense forests. Equipped only with the most essential items of clothing and survival utensils, they have to provide themselves with food and build a night camp every evening. Whoever comes off the best, gets to the finals and at the end of the day may perhaps be adorned with the title “Outdoor Hero”.
