- TheMisGuidedTitan14. april 2025I don’t believe WIT has ever missed on any anime they’ve produced, Moonrise is a superbly done series, like most decent anime stories it leaves a lot of questions not answered as the story progresses, one can hope to find these answers in later seasons or not. The main protagonist and antagonist leave a lot to be desired especially with the typical fare of main character knows more than their letting on while supporting characters who seem intelligent proceed to act stupid and put up with the nonsense. Main Antagonist can say and do so much more to serve the story but alas this doesn’t happen either.. not sure why this is a trope that continues in Anime and most TV shows but alas it does. This by no means takes away from the beautifully animated action set pieces and gorgeously done back drops. Definitely heavy on the action which i love. It unlike a lot of shows I’ve watched kept me glued and wanting more. Heres to a season 2 sooner than later.
