It’s rare to watch a real-life mystery where, by the end, not only is the cause uncovered (with a few exceptions), but genuine lessons are learned. That’s what makes the series so compelling: every tragedy is treated with respect, every investigation is methodical, and every episode highlights how safety improves because of what was discovered. It’s undeniably emotional at times—some of the disasters are heartbreaking, and the human stories can be difficult to watch—but the show never feels exploitative.
