Local Knowledge focuses on the culture of fishing as seen through the often humorous viewpoints of two drastically different fishermen from opposite sides of the country. Ali Hussainy of San Diego, California is the President of BD Outdoors, the largest fishing site on the web, while Capt. Rush Maltz is a born and raised Florida Keys fishing guide. Watch this unique take on the "fishing show".

Any day on the water is better then a day in the office, and if the year round Calico bass and large winter time yellowtail cooperate, we may have a chance at a successful off-season bag.

Hoping to finally see the structure first hand, Rush takes him to catch some snappers and groupers and then dive in the same spot. He encounters a family run business that is destined for success if they can only "stay off of their own supply".

Building LifeWhen it comes to fishing in the Florida Keys, the success of your day is usually determined by the quality of your bait. Rush shows Ali what it takes to build life on the fishing grounds when $20 scoops of bait are not an option.

Ali and his company BD Outdoors get a kick out of picking random people from their fan base and tearing up their bucket list.
