The series Ghorbat tells the story of women fighting for freedom while living under the oppression of a ruthless dictator. These women secretly plan to escape from his clutches, but to do so, they need financial resources. Desperation drives them to hatch a secret plan to steal from the Imam Khomeini Relief Committee, a governmental institution.
