Dasha, a seventeen-year-old pupil of a provincial orphanage, becomes a victim of the rich swindler Bogdanov. To protect his property from confiscation, he gives Dasha off as his illegitimate daughter, whom he sought out in order to atone for past sins and give his daughter a prestigious foreign education. In fact, Bogdanov wants to transfer his property to the girl and get rid of her. Only he did not take into account that Dasha has a strong-willed, freedom-loving character: a girl who grew up in an orphanage is used to making decisions on her own. She does not agree to rot in slavery because of the whim of a stealing villain. And now the rich bride Dasha will fight for her life and the happiness she deserves.
