They could have pushed Kovacs further into the rough and tumble character they were originally written as, but otherwise solid all the way through. Season 2 is absolute cheeks however, I cannot be bothered wasting storage space on that junk.
- Julie Jones12. januar 2026The first season of Altered Carbon adaptation was pretty good! Season 2 was a disgrace! You can easily just watch the first and the last episode, get the whole plot, and not miss a thing. I would not bother watching this failure, Don't waste your time on that one.

- Rick Capone23. mai 2025I would consider Altered Carbon to be a staple of the cyberpunk genre, and possibly one of the easiest segues into the genre. Set in the future, Altered Carbon follows the story of Takeshi Kovacs, an almost superhuman mercenary, as he is released from prison, essentially a slave to a very rich man. Takeshi's unique set of experiences and skills guide him through the investigation he is tasked with, revealing life altering truths from his past. Both leads, Joel Kinnaman and Anthony Mackie(Season 2) help bring the idea of an "envoy" to life.
