Y tú mamá también describes the lives of two teenager male friends from different social backgrounds (but still from the more affluent predominantly white class) and their center of interest, which resumes mainly to getting laid. Testosterone flies high here. But beyond the surface of what could be a regular coming of age film, lies a deep introspection of human relations as well as a critical view on the Mexican society. I strongly recommend watching the movie which can be fun and sad at the same time and has an excellent narrative technique. Beware of some nudity and erotical sex scenes.
