- marshalsea-6 d.Absolutely solid mystery war film. We needed more Burton/Eastwood together, it works so well. Mary Ure also needs a mention as the undercover agent sent ahead, and gets in with shooting nazis and not being a waste of space. This film is layered, loads of plot moments which evolve naturally and aren't forced. The films run time lets it ebb/flow so you get repeated tension and release and oh my god do I mis this type of filmmaking.
