A lot of the ideas are genre cliches but it takes them very seriously and doesn’t shy away from their implications. I love how you can kinda see the twist coming even from the first few minutes on a second watch.

- borhan930. mai 2026I finally got around to watching this movie its leaving Netflix, but can be found on Amazon Prime as well. It was refreshing to watch something that was original and that I had not seen before. Upgrade touches on some of the sad truths that we are facing in 2026, and it was done truthfully and tastefully. AI has the power for good or evil, and to give it full control, do we think it's the right thing to do or should humanity still have a say? This movie is not suitable for the kids; however, something that a couple or mum and dad with kids should watch to make parents think about the threats that tech today can pose to our kids. This is a lower budget of Johhny Depps Transdence but was done really well with the low budget it had. I don't know any of the cast, but they all played really well in their roles, and this should leapfrog all their acting careers, and we should see them all in bigger and better things. This is a recommended watch, and even I would keep this in my movie collection. More movies like this please!!

After a life changing accident, he is imbedded with AI technology with some crazy results. Really fun ride with wild action and plenty of over the top moments. Some plot twists I didn't see coming.
- O14. april 2026Wow, this movie was completely unexpected. A gem that was overlooked. Probably one of my Top 10 sci-fi films now. Many audible gasps, plenty of blood, but he ending was good and left me wanting MORE. Recommended to friends and they agreed. A shame they couldnt give us on more. Actors did their part, i was fully invested the entire time.
