Regissert av Géza von BolváryThe young opera singer Carla is in love with the talented composer Michele, who is looking for success with serious music and who has written his first opera, "Odysseus' Return" for Carla. Unfortunately, Carla's a bit more successful than he is and becomes a cast member at Milan's La Scala. Using her connections, she is successful in finding a publisher for Michele's opera. But when Michele finds out what the publisher really thinks of his work, he leaves Carla and disappears.
