- Rob MacKinnon2. mars 2026When I saw this theatrically as a 12-year old, I remember being stunned at the ending. I didn’t think movies were allowed to end that way. Watching it again now for the first time since then, the ending remains stunning. And I loved it.

It's brimming with ideas realised with passion that have the potential to make some peoples' jaws drop. It's a stupid, fun dream and there really is nothing else like it.

Young history buff Kevin can scarcely believe it when six dwarfs emerge from his closet one night. Former employees of the Supreme Being, they've purloined a map charting all of the holes in the fabric of time and are using it to steal treasures from different historical eras. Taking Kevin with them, they variously drop in on Napoleon, Robin Hood and King Agamemnon before the Supreme Being catches up with them.
