- Zokkiie13. oktober 2026For a movie about a giant tsunami, there's an awful lot of waiting around before the disaster finally happens. The first half is mostly relationship drama, comedy and people arguing, and honestly, very little of it worked for me. Things get much more entertaining once the wave hits, though. The destruction is impressive in places, and there are a few genuinely intense sequences that make it clear what this movie could've been with a stronger script. The biggest problem is that the personal drama takes up so much time without being particularly interesting. The humor often falls flat, the tone jumps between comedy and tragedy, and some of the CGI looks pretty rough. There's a decent disaster movie buried in here, but it takes far too long to get to the good stuff. The tsunami scenes are worth seeing, but everything leading up to them is a bit of a slog.
