Now you may have got the idea I don't like this movie. No I am not a fan of the above actors together but alone they are usually decent. But this movie breaks all the rules and is hilarious. This is the end features a star studded cast playing themselves as they all try to survive the apocalypse...

- KGM SOSA10. oktober 2025I’ve seen This Is the End more times than I can count, but since I’ve started reviewing films on IMDb, Letterboxd, & Plex, I figured it deserved an official write-up. This movie has been one of my long-time comfort watches, the kind of film I throw on when I’m sick, half-asleep, or just need something familiar that doesn’t demand too much focus. Despite that, it always gets me laughing. I’m not someone who finds most comedies funny, but this one genuinely has me in tears & clutching my stomach every single time. The premise is fun & creative, with each actor playing an exaggerated, ridiculous version of themselves as the world literally falls apart around them. James Franco, Danny McBride, Michael Cera, & Craig Robinson completely steal the show; every scene they’re in feels like a chaotic improv masterclass. It’s not a serious movie nor does it try to be. It’s just pure, outrageous fun & that’s exactly why it’s one of my go-to comfort films. My rating: ★★★★★★★★☆☆ (8/10)
- pipanni1. oktober 2025It's not bad but with so much great comedic actors it should have been better. Plus the pacing is not even at all. Some very funny jokes get mixed with some very cringy ones. Also sometimes the movie gets too serious for its own good. Still, it's worth a watch, especially if you're a fan of these guys.

Michael Cara on another level. I still say, “Sippy time” all the time bc of it lmao also Jonah is incredible in this. That night time scene is still a little sketchy tho Would give anything to have a sleepover with all of my friends again
