It works on that level; you feel the rush even if you never quite settle into what the characters are feeling. Because of that quick pacing, it stays on the surface. You watch it, it keeps your attention, but it doesn’t leave much behind. When it’s over, what sticks is simple: a bad day, a tough call, and they got it right in the end. It’s competent, but it doesn’t linger.
