Say what you will about 2001, this film was just as revolutionary and technologically advanced as any film that had gone before. Including everything that ILM had created for Star Wars. Watch this again like it was the first time and try not to have your mind blown with "bullet time" and the 360 degree camera shots. Then remember that no one had EVER shot film like that before. Still incredible.

Blew my mind when I first saw it and after having watched it several more times as I've gotten older I never cease to be entertained. It doesn't get much better than this, the Wachowski's completely knocked it out of the park with this one. The sequels are good especially the 2nd but the original is just hands down the best.
