Quite an interesting documentary. I was part of the crew of the "Vig" that day. It was a sad day for the USA. Due to lack of social media in that time period, quite a bit of the history is somewhat new to me. It is extremely timely, with the SCOTUS affirmation of birthright citizenship, a right contained in the 14th Amendment to the Constitution of the United States of America. Without it, this would not have ever become a story, much less a documentary and a Hollywood movie (see "The Defection of Simas Kudirka" 1979). Leave it to a foreign director to tell a story about an American incident that helps us understand and appreciate the rights afforded us by our Constitution.
