Once a false narrative takes hold, even good people start seeing only what they want to see. Brilliant acting, especially by Mads Mikkelsen, and a deeply thought-provoking portrayal of human behavior. A great film that A film I admire immensely, though I don’t see myself revisiting it often.
- Kubko8. august 2025I started watching with zero idea about the story or anything else, and oh boy, it was heavy on my heart. As someone who’s very empathetic, this film was an absolute blow to my emotions. It slowly shows how a completely good person can lose everything just because of a little lie. The film also explores very scary emotions like helplessness and loneliness, filled with pure desperation. I actually watched it three times—all within the span of a week. I surely recommend it.
